The mountains of Taiwan have some great mountain biking trails and with an expanding network of bicycle paths being built around the island, pedal-power is the way to go.

In Motion Asia featuring in the China Times Weekly, Taiwan's most popular Chinese language lifestyle magazine, in March 2008 and the first shift from mountain biking to customized road cycling tours around Taiwan for In Motion Asia.

Still rated as one of the most epic tours to date was this week-long 6-stage tour down the length of Taiwan from Taipei to Kenting organized for a group of then Taipei-based expats who went on to become lifelong friends.The tour quite literally had everything from snowed-capped mountains through the Central Mountain Range, to the tropics of the southern beaches. We were joined on tour for a day by China Times Weekly reporter Lesley Lin who did her best to add intrigue and a touch of Taiwan drama to a truly amazing adventure!
