Long Dong - Climbing on the world's greatest sea cliff

Rock Climbing in Yangmingshan National Park

We also offer fun-filled days of climbing at the convenient crags of Beitou, in Taipei’s spectacular Yangmingshan National Park. An amazing natural gem of geothermal activity, the crags of Big Cannon Rock are surrounded by lush hot springs and fertile valleys of the slumbering volcano that formed Yang Ming Mountain. Not surprisingly, the rocks are formed of volcanic stone that is absolutely perfect in quality for the short, top rope-protected climbs conveniently nestled among the hills and trees. Just minutes from the bustle of the city streets, climbing at Beitou is a convenient destination for a great day of climbing fun and adventure with a quick and easy return to the luxuries of the city.
